Reico Kitchen & Bath has successfully completed the acquisition of Carolina Kitchens and its two locations in Greensboro and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This brings the company’s total number of showrooms to twenty-six across the Mid- and South-Atlantic region, and increases Reico Kitchen & Bath’s presence in North Carolina to six showrooms, adding to current locations in Charlotte, Raleigh, Southern Pines and its’ brand-new state-of-the-art showroom in Wilmington.
These are now operating as Reico showrooms. This acquisition also brought with it a group of seasoned professionals that will have an immediate impact on our transition to this new market. This team of people will help us to build the Reico brand in these new markets.
Brothers Phil and Pete Burger started Carolina Kitchen & Bath in 1978. Much like Reico, they grew their business over the years based on a foundation of great customer service. Both Phil and Pete are helping during the transition by introducing us to their customers and providing market insight.
Reico Kitchen & Bath President Rich Maresco stated, “Carolina Kitchens has established an outstanding reputation since its inception. Founders Pete and Phil Burger will continue to help Reico make this transition as smooth as possible. We are delighted for the opportunity to build on the high level of service in these two growing markets.”
Part of Reico’s overall strategy is to grow new locations and markets. Not just any growth, but smart growth that allows us expand in a way that preserves the foundation of our success and maintains the quality our services. Growth stretches our reach, increases our customer base and effectively utilizes our existing resources such as people, systems, warehouses and trucks. In recent years, we have constructed new showrooms in Winchester, VA and Wilmington, NC. And now our growth continues with the acquisition of Carolina Kitchen & Bath.
