Kayla Carter graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from East Carolina University in 2023. During her studies she interned and worked with many local interior designers, discovering her passion for kitchen and bath design. Kayla joined the Reico team in 2024. Starting out as a Project Coordinator, she learned every aspect of the project management process and expanded her design knowledge in the process before moving into her role as Designer.

Kayla’s goal is to create collaborative and enjoyable experiences with her clients from start to finish. Every client is unique, and she values their ideas and preferences. She loves the challenge of optimizing spaces, choosing materials and designing layouts that bring both practicality and a personal touch. It is Kayla’s goal to not only create a beautiful space, but also a space that enhances their daily life.

When not designing, Kayla enjoys time with family, boating and traveling.
