As you already know, kitchen ideas are everywhere! Here are 3 things you can do to help your kitchen designer get started on your kitchen:
1. Pictures! Pictures! Pictures!
A picture can save you 1000 words from your kitchen designer! Whether cut from a magazine or linked from the internet, pictures are one of the best and most popular ways to help your kitchen designer understand what you are looking for. A picture will clarify exactly what you mean when you say you like French Country and immediately put you on the same page with your kitchen designer.
2. List! List! List!
A list can save a thousand words…from you! List what you like about your current kitchen. List what you don’t like about your current kitchen. List your dream kitchen options. Lists not only help your kitchen designer combine the proper features for your new kitchen but also help you prioritize what you can and can’t live without.
3. See! See! See!
You aren’t limited to magazines and the internet. Open your eyes and you’ll be surprised at just how many kitchens you see in a day. Look at the kitchens in the background of your favorite TV shows, cable cooking shows and in other people’s houses. Keep an eye out for kitchen displays when you are out shopping or eating. You never know where you are going to find inspiration and anything that inspires you will inspire your kitchen designer.
Remember…anything you bring to the designing table will help your kitchen designer create YOUR perfect kitchen.
